Happy Summer

So busy with camping and fun stuff this summer. Sorry I haven't posted anything recently.

I am back to work part time mornings and Sophia is going to an awesome day home Monday -Wednesday mornings only. She loves it there and is never eager to leave when we pick her up.
She loves playing with other kids so this is a great way for her to play but still have lots of time with me.
I will post more cute summer pics soon but until then here are a few to keep you busy. :)
Making banana boats...sneaking chocolate chips. Love the guilty looks :)

Ice cream lover

Her favorite thing to do at Old McDonald Campground was to visit this pink cow everyday. It didn't work but she didn't care. I wish it was for sale.

So tired after a day in Drumheller

She was at this same spot last summer...wow time goes so fast.

Enjoy your week :)

Waterton

This was our first time in Waterton and we fell in love with this park. The town is filled with family activities and is still small enough that Sophia could walk down the sidewalk without getting run over by people. We stayed at the townsite campground which was walking distance from everything including a play park which Sophia loved.
We camped with Sophia's friend Payton and her parents. We did a lot of hiking which Sophia really enjoyed. I thought we would have to carry her on every hike but she insisted on walking by herself...except on the last hike. She was tired and slept in the sling I carried her in.
Sophia wanted to pet all of the animals and didn't understand that they were wild so we havd to really watch her.
Great time in Waterton and wee will definitely go back.
There are deer walking through the town all the time. This was an amazing experience. The deer walked 5 feet away from Jason and Sophia.
Watching the ground squirrels from the trailer.

Red Rock hike

Sophia sharing with a chipmunk. We had to tell her not to give them food.

Sophia liked the canoe...

...but hated the life jacket.

We found out that Sophia loves water and is so happy to sit and throw rocks all day. We did this alot. Every time she saw water she had to go see it.

Canada Day

Sophia is 18 months!!!

The weekend of Canada Day we went to our trailer for the weekend.

Sophia loves helping to work on projects at the trailer. She has great hand eye coordination and has been using a screwdriver for a while now.

Making smores with Daddy
We came back on the Monday to see the parade and enjoy the activities that they have here in Sherwood Park. It was such a hot day so we didn't spend the whole day in the sun.

Ready to enjoy the parade

Proud to be Canadian!!!

Playing with the baby goats at the petting zoo

Sophia was so hot she drank all of my lemonade.

Fathers Day

We had a lovely Fathers Day weekend. On Saturday we went to Cabellas and Sophia and I made dinner and banana bread for Daddy. Sunday we visited Grandpa Brian then went to see Papa.
It was an awesome weekend surrounded by great men.
