Family, Family and more Family

Well this was a busy week of visiting family and friends.
Monday Christian, Kendal Papa Wayne, Auntie Krista and Uncle Mackenzie came for a visit. It was a beautiful day outside and Sophia really enjoyed the visit.

Shopping with Daddy...mommy said no way to the dog.

Loving Sydney. Sophia likes Sydney better than a fake dog anyway.

Visiting Grandpa Brian and Grandma

On Friday Sophia and I walked to McDonald's to have coffee with grandma and her friends Margret and Al.

Friday was also Sophia's 9 month birthday. So enjoy the new basket pictures.

she has been learning to wave

Friday night we went out to Nana and Papas house to camp in the trailer and get it ready for winter. Sophia loved spending the weekend with Nana and Papa and of course Harley

Harley is not too sure but Sophia really wants to play with her.

Full and tired after she ate a great meal cooked with love by Nana. Sophia loves home cookin.

Cousin Abbie came for a visit. They were so sweet together.

Abbie teaching Sophia how to talk on a phone already.

First bath in Nana's fancy tub. Sophia didn't want to get out.

"where's Sophia?"

"There she is" ...not happy that I got her out of the tub.

On the last day, Harley was nudging her ball towards Sophia , wanting to play. This time Sophia wasn't too sure.
We had a great week visiting everyone. Thanks for coming over or having us over to your house. We love you all.

Little Artist on the Move

Monday night we put Sophia to bed and after a 'nap' (she didn't think it was bedtime yet), she started to cry. When I went in she was standing up, hanging on to her crib, facing the door. After a "thank you God" prayer that she didn't fall out, Jason lowered her bed so it is good for the next phase of her life. But that was the first time she had pulled herself up. She had never really tried before so we thought we had a little more time before lowering hter bed...I guess not.

Well poor Sidney's life will never be the same, Sophia is on the move. She is crawling and pulling herself on the floor. She chases Sidney around the house...ok it is a slow chase but she eventually catches him. He doesn't mind the attention and just lays there while she plays with his tail and his fur. For all of you who are nervous about dogs and kids, don't be. By the time she gets to him we are there with her teaching her to pet him gently. She gets so excited around him and 'talks' to him the entire time.
She has also been working on her artistic skills this week. She made a get well card for Nana and we made a painting as a family to hang on an empty wall in our room.

On Friday Sophia got a cold and her two top teeth are coming in. Actually she has three teeth coming in on the top now. Poor girl is all stuffed up and as running a fever, not too high thank goodness. Needless to say we all didn't sleep well all weekend. Last night Sophia and I slept on the floor in her room so that Daddy could get some sleep before going back to work. We camped out on lots of blankets (more for my comfort) and actually she slept really well. Here's hoping tonight she sleeps in her crib again. She seems to be feeling better today.

Enjoy the pictures from our week.

All dressed up to visit Anita for her birthday

Out for dinner with Lisa and Anita....Sophia is ready to order.
